Growth opportunities in a Digital Britain

The digital economy offers huge potential for UK plc and a fertile ground for technological innovation. It also presents significant challenges. The focus for this session will be innovation in the digital sector. Our panellists will look at many of the business issues raised by the government’s Digital Britain report, and the role of the Technology Strategy Board in helping business to realise the opportunities. These include collaboration in the digital ‘value chain,’ the development of new online business models, and development of the infrastructure required to ensure growth in creative industries and digital media businesses.
