Nick P. Winser has been Chief Executive of National Grid Company plc, since April 2003. Mr. Winser is responsible for UK and US Transmission operations. He served as Chief Operating Officer of US Transmission or National Grid Transco plc.(NG). He joined NG in 1993, becoming Director of Engineering in 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Winser served at PowerGen since 1991 as principal negotiator on commercial matters, and joined the Central Electricity Generating Board in 1983, ... where he served in a variety of technical engineering roles. Mr. Winser has been Executive Director of The Narragansett Electric Company since April 2003 and is responsible for transmission. He has been Executive Director of KeySpan Corporation and National Grid Electricity Transmission PLC and National Grid USA since April 2003.
